On a cold wintry evening, I had an encounter with an utter reality called Death.

A person who is born is destined to die, but when it knocks us, it makes us stiff and lose our senses.

Life and Death are the inevitable part of a man’s life, But a trivial man who is submerged in worldly pleasures, is oblivious of the real and inner meaning of this cycle.

He spends all his life and energy, igniting jealousy and aversions against others.

Life is only one, why can’t he spend that life doing and thinking good for others?

Just as our eyes can perceive beautiful things around, our tongue should be as sweet, so that the world should perceive us beautiful!

When the time comes to depart from this mortal world,

No one is spared and every living entity has to leave its body and let go its soul.

So, let us embrace this beautiful and wonderful journey called Life,

That journey which signifies our existence, value in this Earth.

It doesn’t matter how rich you are in life,

What matters is peace of mind, a cosy home to live in,

And a family to laugh with.

 

We are running after worldly pleasures,

Forgetting the fine demarcation between need and excess.

Are this ‘excess’ of any value?

As nothing we can take after death.

 

Parents are of greatest treasure,

They are those, who toiled the most.

Now it is our duty, to take care of them,

We would be so fortunate to receive blessings from them.

 

Just the bubbles life span is short lived,

So as, those of fake friends who are with you when they’re in need.

The moment their need is done, they vanish.

 

Life is really a mysterious, yet beautiful journey.

Why not try to create a niche of oneself?

It’s difficult, but not impossible.

 

Friendship reminds me of that beautiful bond, which binds us together.

A bond, which is free from all inhibitions whatsoever and for which we all die for!

Those wonderful moments spend together are really a treasure for me.

As nothing in this world is more precious and dear to me than our friendship.

Friends are those, upon whom we can confide, share everything,

They are those, without whom life seems to be a complete loss

Friendship is that beautiful relation, which should be experienced by all,

As it is the only relation, which invokes love and compassion.

Friendship is not limited to any caste creed or colour.

It is a universal relation, which binds everyone of us together.

So, come let us spread the scent of friendship all around us,

Then only, we can expect a beautiful reward of unity, brotherhood and peace all around us.
