Yes, I’m happy when my wishes are fulfilled,

I’ve toiled and work hard to attain the best

 

I’m happy, when I see that satisfying smile of a hungry man

His blessings, his love are enough for me to attain that ultimate solace.

I’m happy, when my parents bless me,

They are the one, who toiled for my upbringing,

 

They have spent sleepless nights nurturing me,

I can’t see tears in their eyes

As it is my foremost duty, to bring smile on their faces

 

I am happy, when I see the smiling face of an innocent baby,

As he is the one, who is devoid of jealousy and animosity,

I am happy, if I can help others and brings smile on their faces,

As a face with smile, can definitely achieve the path of success, with utmost happiness and satisfaction,

 

Finally, I shall be most happy, if I could be able to reduce the sufferings and plight of all mankind

Then only, I shall consider my birth in this world an useful and noteworthy!

 

Perhaps, I was in a deep slumber or subconscious mind,

A state, which I don’t remember know.

But it was so enchanting and fascinating this much I could say,

That the evocation of the dream,

Now also, makes me so happy and exciting.

That dream took me to a fairy land,

Where I met a beautiful fairy, with a magic wand.

It seemed I was hypnotized with some magic spell.

But I couldn’t believe that one day I’ll be able to see a fairyland.

The fairy asked me, any of my three wishes,

I was so ecstatic and told her my wishes.

It was an enthralling experience for me,

I wish, if all these were in real.

A feeling so profound,

Encompasses us all.

With all its myriad roles,

Binds and allure the mankind.

 

It is the feeling of love, which has no bounds,

It does not discriminate anyone, anywhere,

It is an emotion, without any confines.

 

A devout person’s love for his God, is really unparalleled,

He is ready to spend his whole life, for the sake of his devotion.

 

A doting father’s love for his child, is loaded with care and protectiveness,

He is a pillar of support for his child.

 

A mother’s love is incomparable of all, which is devoid of any greed, selfishness or animosity,

She is ready to sacrifice everything for the welfare of her child.

 

Lover’s bond for each other multiplies each day,

With each partner ready to go to any extent for each other.

 

Every living entity express this precious emotion of love.

Love is to be expressed and felt.

Our Earth has been bestowed with marvelous flora and fauna,

It’s our duty to care them with love and affection.

 

Above all, this feeling of love should be imbibed within us all,

So that no war, no casualties can occur and disturb the bonding of love among us.

 

I miss those dusty roads

those busy markets,

I long to see those smiling innocent faces,

Of school children,

 

I miss those alleys,

Sans the cacophony of street hawkers,

Those roadside tea stalls, empty benches

Without those crackling jokes of common men,

 

I long to witness the rumpus of the crowds, in their favourite hangout areas!

 

I terribly miss those pretentious days,

When we merrily lead a life which we

Know desperately long for!

 

I long to see the new dawn bubbling with happiness and free from all inhibitions..

That new earth where everyone, being reborn again, with more strength, vigour and energy!!
