Come, let us do something for our country,

She is bounded in the shackles of poverty and illiteracy.

 

Let us educate ourselves, to be confident and self-reliant,

Let us embrace the power of love, smile and compassion.

Let us promise together, to be honest, hardworking and fearless.

 

Let not forget the sacrifice of our great heroes, the pains which they endured to fulfil their goals.

Let us spread our arms to the needy,

They are in dire need of that little gesture of help, which shall infuse a smile, in that morosed face.

 

Come, let us take utmost care of our parents, who toiled for our upbringing,

They are the one who made us complete.

Let us promise each other, no to forget the spirit of brotherhood, equality, liberty,

And then, we can hope for a new dawn bubbling with paramount energy and happiness!

 

Gazing at the full orbed moon in the night sky, I pondered how beautifully it is showering calmness, purity and great power to us.

The majestic Sun is always burning bright, illuminating and comforting our beautiful Earth.

The green plants are always welcoming us with their hands stretched out.

They are kind enough to impart us abundant oxygen, the elixir of our life.

The meandering rivers, are those great teachers who preaches us to be firm in our decisions and not to deviate from our goals.

Oh! Mighty river it is you only, who continue to flow no matter what the situation be!

But Nature also wants love and care in return from man..

But man has neglected the treasures of abandoned beauty bestowed upon him.

Man has become egotistical to his own life,

Miserably causing detriment to the pristine and diversified Nature.

The serene blue crystal clear water is now longing for its freshness,

The marine life gasping for oxygen,

Woefully, its waters being enveloped with human and factory wastes.

Come, let us pledge to make this Earth a heavenly place,

A place closer to our heart, mind and soul
