I was so depressed and morossed by the way life treated me,

There were none to hear or comfort my plea.

I was a vagabond roaming here and there without any specific goals,

Sometimes when my heart broke, nobody was there to console.

I dreamt of something, which I never achieved,

May be some thoughts were not well conceived.

I took life casually which made me carefree,

Sometimes, I used to ponder about the real value of life which in turn made me crazy.

But suddenly, one day a miracle happened which totally turned the meaning of my life

I started to love myself, my life my near and dear ones and everything seemed like a paradise.

This is all I wanted, a satisfaction, a feeling of entirety,

Oh God! I’m thankful to you, to impart me all the values and to free me from anxiety.

Yes, this pandemic taught us many lessons.

Lessons, which otherwise would have never been taken seriously.

Suddenly, we all got stuck in a so peculiar situation.

Instead of lamenting, utilise it wisely.

Earlier, unknowingly I was being driven into a dark tunnel of sorrow and dissatisfaction.

But my confidence and courage, came to my rescue and paved my new paths.

A memorable precious quality time I spent with my family,

But earlier it was a distant reality.

Cooking new dishes became a hobby,

It comforted me, pleased me as unity and happiness in family, is what all I want.

Music also soothes my mind and I love to sing.

This is one of my hobbies, which again I retrieved.

And last but not the least, I discovered the writer in me,

A writer, who loves to express her inner feelings and thoughts in a lucid manner.

We’re that amazing creations of God.

We are those who are like the scent of a flower.

We are the ones to be applauded

We are the super girls who have unique power

We are having an endurance so vivid

We are that who can do multiple tasks together

We are the ones who love someone to a boundless limit

We never turn ourselves back be it any kind of weather

We are the ones who can bring new life in this world

We are proud to say, as we hold numerous hopes and aspirations unfurled.

May this New Year, be the harbinger of good luck and prosperity,

May we come more close to each other and expect more sincerity.

May we have that strength to defy against any odds,

May we do do something so remarkable, to get the blessings from all Gods.

May we forget all enmity and animosity,

May we have that feelings within us, to accept everything with generosity.

May we promise ourselves, never to lose hope and confidence,

May we have that belief, that everything can be done with competence.

May we gather courage and try to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and all sufferings,

May we do something, so that everything is comforting.

May this New Year, be a gateway to our well-being of freedom and happiness,

May we have finally that mind-set, to harbour that feelings of fullness and earnestness.

She is a superior creation of God.

She spells her magic, everywhere she goes.

Yes, she is that woman who is indispensable,

And very sweet just like a rose.

 

She can manage every trivial matter.

She has answers to every solution,

Which she deals with great ease,

As she is the one, who has no substitution.

 

She is the one, who knows to keep going.

She knows exactly what her goals are.

She has that confidence and courage to achieve those goals.

She is willing to devote herself fully to attain those!!

 

She is devoted to her family, by her heart and soul.

She cares and nurtures her children with all her love and care.

She is understanding and pillar of support for her husband.

But she does everything with a smile, just for the well- being of others.

 

No matter how many skies, fall under her.

But she stands firm and erect with confidence and hope.

Her thoughts may be distressed,

But she will boost other’s confidence and help them to be stress free.

 

Salute to all Women, who make this world so beautiful place to live in,

You’re those dazzling stars who have those unique capabilities to enlighten the entire universe!!

 

Our life is shining bright, with dazzling stars on Earth.

They are those stars, who emit their lights of creativity and productivity.

Creativeness is a boon, when nurtured can lead an individual to great heights,

The only thing required, is the right approach, time and direction.

People tend to degrade others, but fail to identify their talents.

Spending time on personal hobbies and nurturing them, should be their motive.

Inculcating one’s hobbies brings joy, happiness and satisfaction,

As an ideal mind, can be a house of seclusion, hatred and anger.

It should be our foremost mission, to inculcate the creativeness among us and others.

As all individuals are special, in some sense or other which the Almighty has bestowed upon them.

Stars on Earth are full of creativities and have that zeal to excel,

And they can prove their mettle, when given the right direction and opportunity.

March has arrived, with all its invigorating fervour for a radical change,

A change for the betterment, upliftment of the society and for each individual.

An individual who is entitled to enjoy every right which is his/ her birth right,

Birth right, which gives us the feeling of possession and inheritance.

Inheritance, is a genetic trait which we all individuals are comprised,

Comprising and nurturing our lives wholly with pure love are the fairer sex.

Fairer not by skin, but by purity and compassion.

But being a compassionate being, she is herself subjected to disrespect and humiliation.

Some humiliations are unbearable and yet she has to accept those sometimes with smile on her face.

Yes, her face should not at all reflect any pains, sufferings, she is meant to forgive all and move forward in life.

Life, which is a wonderful yet a very unpredictable journey,

A journey where she expects respect, security and dignity of herself from others.

Not a single day, but every day is a celebration for a woman,

As she is the one, who cares for others with a smile on her face, without caring for herself!!

Many a times, some incidents happened with me,

That which I hadn’t planned but it came by chance,

The experiences which I gathered, made me more matured today.

 

Just like a moth, hovers around the flame of a candle,

I was wondering for a perfect goal to be successful.

When again by sheer chance, I chose to be in a very novel profession.

 

A profession of teacher, where one gets respect, dignity and self-confidence.

While as a teacher, I can’t express the love and respect which I got,

Yes, then I realised teaching is my forte.

 

Being a teacher, I felt myself satisfied,

To impart good values and principles,

My heartiest gratitude to all teachers

Who devote themselves solely for the welfare of the students.

Those interchanging colours of my scars are the outcomes of my sufferings, which I encountered,

Many a times, I tried to figure out what miscalculations occurred that everything got distracted and blurred.

I had trusted him, loved him by welcoming in my life,

Never had I imagined that person, upon whom I confided, turned out a deceiver in disguise.

The mental agonies, the pains, by him is a lesson for me,

As I was the one, who loved to lead a life happily and carefree.

Sometimes I ponder, how can one be so heartless and cruel?

Oh! Nobody is responsible for this, as I only considered him my jewel.

The scars which are visible, shall heal in due time,

But some scars are those, which take time to heal, as they are invisible and tend to be prime.

But I’ll not lose my heart and try to fight against odds and injustices,

As I’m that women, who is pure at heart, full of love, compassion and proud of her existence.

Behold her! who is the epitome of that immense power within herself,

She is none other than, the one who is the essence of patience, love, compassion, a woman and with whom I relate myself.

She is Goddess Durga, who combats the evil Mahishasura by her Shakti,

Every woman has that strength and zeal which they embody.

She is Goddess Kali, who embodies shakti, energy, creativity and fertility,

She is that woman, who has the ability to withstand whatsoever comes before her with dignity.

She is Goddess Laxmi, who portrays wealth, fortune, joy and prosperity,

She is that ideal woman in a household, who is respected because of her solidarity and sincerity.

She is Goddess Saraswati who embodies art, music and learning,

She is an elegant woman who has that spark, which makes her charming.

She is a mother, daughter, wife and likewise plays multiple roles,

She is that, who never loses hope, confidence and always fulfil her goals.
