SREELATHA VINOD is an acclaimed artist, scholar, teacher and choreographer who has been an active performer in India and across the world for more than 35 years. The stage apart, Sreelatha is respected for the depth of her research, lectures and demonstrations. She holds a Masters degree in Indian history and a Phd. In Bharatanatyam. She is currently a faculty member in the Department of Dance at The Tamilnadu Dr. J. Jayalalitha University of Music and Fine Arts, Chennai. She is also a research guide for Phd. students in Bharatanatyam. Sreelatha is also the founder President and Trustee of ‘Prayathnam’ – an organization for dancers, teachers and trainers. She is based in Chennai where she also oversees her own institution – Anthara Centre for Performing Arts.
