In this present book which mainly comprises of selected verses from the Word of God and excerpts from the Spirit of Prophecy I wish to comment with very few words of my own in humility and to the Word of God be foremost. I would mainly like to witness the power of prayer that God has given to us chiefly to praise and worship Him and then to cleanse our soul, bring ourselves nearer to Him and make supplications for forgiveness, assurance, a good Christian life, salvation and eternal life.

Therefore, here are a few more words of blessed assurance:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 10: 10, 11. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4: 4. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1; and Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4: 7; (The prayer of faith) Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5: 13-16.

I have unwavering faith in the power of prayer and God’s word that these selected Holy Scriptures and passages will guide us, enrich us, assure us, and lead us through these troubled last days until the Advent of our Lord. Amen.
