Rajesh Khanna was best in emoting emotions and this quality was his forte which established him as a superstar from Aradhana onwards followed by Do Raaste, Dushman, Amar Prem, Safar, Anand, Kati Patang, Doli, Andaz, Khamoshi, Daag-A Poem of Love, Bandhan, Haathi Mere Saathi, Prem Kahani,Tyaag, Babu, Aap Ki Kasam, Anurodh, Prem Nagar, Dard, Aanchal, Namak Haram, Prem Bandhan, Roti, Asha Jyoti, Kudrat, Amar Deep, Agar Tum Na Hote, Thodisi Bewafaai, Adhikaar, Avtaar, Souten, Akhir Kyon, Amrit, Swarg and Aa Ab Laut Chale.

He was so good in tragedy scenes that whenever he had to bring tears in his eyes it were real and never used glycerin. Acting master Kishore Namit Kapoor said once, that during the shooting of Ashanti, suddenly Kaka brought tears in his eyes which were required in the climax scene and it was so natural. He himself was confused how one can suddenly keep on pouring tears constantly. According to Kishore Namit Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna was a switch on switch off actor. Really, a spontaneous actor like Rajesh Khanna isn’t born again and again.
