WORKSHEET: TRAINING OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND.

The function of your subconscious mind is to store and retrieve data. Its job is to ensure that you respond exactly the way you are programmed. Your subconscious mind makes everything you say and do fit a pattern consistent with your self-concept, your “master program.”

Your subconscious mind is subjective. It does not think or reason independently; it merely obeys the commands it receives from your conscious mind. Just as your conscious mind can be thought of as the gardener, planting seeds, your subconscious mind can be thought of as the garden, or fertile soil, in which the seeds germinate and grow. Your conscious mind commands and your subconscious mind obeys.

Your subconscious mind is an unquestioning servant that works day and night to make your behavior fit a pattern consistent with your emotionalized thoughts, hopes, and desires. Your subconscious mind grows either flowers or weeds in the garden of your life, whichever you plant by the mental equivalents you create. It takes on average about three to four weeks (but it could take longer) to reprogram the subconscious mind. It will depend on how deeply ingrained the behavior is that you want to change, as well as your own limiting beliefs.

You can change your subconscious programming by following steps:

    1. Observe your thoughts.

    2. Reinforce daily positive affirmations

    3. Seek help, talk, or share with a friend

    4. Reach out to help others.

    5. Be in the company of positive people.

    6. Take care of your body and mind.

Subconscious re-training and inner healing:

    1. In case of anxiety, don’t figure things out by yourself.

    2. Accept your true feelings. Self-confession is key.

    3. Be OK with some things being out of your control.

    4. Practice self-care.

    5. Be conscious of your intentions.

    6. Focus on positive thoughts.

    7. Practice mindfulness. Be in the present moment.

    8. Train your brain to stop the fear response.

    9. Meditation. One of the ways to understand your subconscious mind is to meditate.

    10. Use Positive Affirmations.

    11. Visualization.

    12. Start a Gratitude Journal

One day a beautiful conversation happens between a man and a God:

MAN: Hello God

GOD: Hello my son

MAN: I am falling apart. Can you put me back together?

GOD: I’d rather not

MAN: Why?

GOD: Because you are not a puzzle.

MAN: What about all the pieces of my life that fall to the ground?

GOD: Leave them there for a while. They fall for a reason. Let them be there for a While and then decide if you need to take any of those pieces back.

MAN: You don’t understand! I am breaking!

GOD: No, you don’t understand. You are transcending, evolving. What you feel are growing pains. You are getting rid of the things and people that are holding you back. The pieces are not falling down. The pieces are being put in place. Relax. Take a deep breath and let those things you no longer need fall down. Stop clinging to pieces that are no longer for you. Let them fall. Let them go.

MAN: Once I start doing that, what will I have left?

GOD: Only the best pieces of yourself.

MAN: I am afraid to change.

GOD: I keep telling you: YOU ARE NOT CHANGING! YOU ARE BECOMING!

MAN: Becoming, who?

GOD: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light, love, grace, courage, joy, mercy, charity, hope, and compassion. I made you for so much more than those shallow pieces you decided to adorn yourself with and that you cling to with so much greed and fear. Let those things fall off you. I love you! Don’t change! Become! Don’t change! Become who I want you to be, who I created. I am gonna keep telling you this until you remember.

MAN: There goes another piece

GOD: Yes. let it be like this.

MAN: So… I am not broken?

GOD: No, but you are breaking the darkness, like the dawn. it’s a new day. Become!! Become who you are!!”
