About the Author

Nethra Dhamodaran is a nine-year old fourth grader living in California, USA. She enjoys participating in competitions such as Math Olympiad, Geography Bee, and Spelling Bee. Her hobbies are drawing, dancing, singing, playing piano, and Legos. Nethra came third in a Math Olympiad competition in her school district and she has also won in her school election as a Student Council Representative. She has been a news reporter in her school’s News Club. Her passion for writing stories, especially narratives, makes her happy because she can express her words and feelings to her teachers and friends, who read her essays. This optimistic girl’s foremost dream is to study in Stanford University and also to become a popular singer, actor, and a politician, probably President of the United States of America!
