Born on 01-10-1937 in Pondicherry, Dr.V Muthurangam worked in the Government service. A doctor by profession, he was in charge of Psychiatry in Government General Hospital , Pondicherry until his retirement in 1995. During his remarkable service, he got an opportunity to travel to France under the French Government’s Scholarship in 1968. He was also fortunate to obtain a prestigious fellowship from WHO which enabled his to travel internationally to countries like England and Denmark. To this day he is fondly remembered by his family comprising of his wife, children and grandchildren.
