As a publisher, we help writers and authors publish their books. However, we would like to be known as pioneers in developing Child Authors. We encourage children to write, draw, paint and get creative and publish their works through us. Children are a storehouse of knowledge and creativity. However, their work is rarely seen in a published form. To give them that opportunity, 16leaves has publishing services and packages designed exclusively for children. Our Child Authors receive professional guidance that puts them on track for future writing and publishing. We ensure a generation of literary enthusiasts. For children, this could be a laudable achievement.
Child Literature Development Program (CLDP)
This program is centered on identifying interested children and helping them promote their literary skills. We plan to do this by building a list of academic and non-academic institutions that could benefit from our program. One of the main activities of the CLDP is conducting contests & workshops for children where they can engage in reading, writing, storytelling and other exciting activities. Each of the participants will not only gain in terms of knowledge but will also be awarded certificates of participation. The CLDP is divided into workshops and the writing contest.
- Writing contests/workshops
- Story telling programs
- Year book/magazines
- Anthology production
We conduct workshops in creative writing, storytelling, poetry writing, fiction writing and effective communication. The workshops are modified and updated regularly to suit different age groups. Custom-made material and trained professionals make the programs interesting and fun. The aim is to equip children with the skill and confidence to write and publish their books.
Children can opt to directly participate in our writing contests without participating in our workshops. Participants are required to write an original piece of work and submit it to us. The submissions will be assessed by our panel of experts consisting of accomplished personalities from different fields of interest. The panel will select the winners and their stories will be published as a book.
